Arthur Benjamin Houston was the son of William Lillard Houston and Alice Elizabeth Williams. He was married with Vergie Lee Dills.
He was killed in action in France. He entered the service on January 23, 1940 and has been serving overseas since February, 1944.

Pvt. Arthur B. Houston, of Loudon, age 21. He volunteered in the service Jan. 23, 1941. He served in the117th Infantry, Thirtieth Division, and was killed Aug. 31, 1944. Survivors: mother, Mrs. W.L.
