Beecher Burton Ogle was the son of Robert H. Ogle and Woodley Lucy Cole. He was married to Reba Marie “Nanny” Spurling and father of Esther Ogle.
Died in service to his country in France. 30 years old.

Pvt. Beecher B. Ogle, 30, killed in action Dec. 7, 1944 in France. Survivors; wife, Mrs. Marie Ogle; one daughter, Ester Ruth; mother Mrs. Woodley Ogle; two brothers, General and Cecil; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Lay, all of Gatlinburg; Mrs. Paul Perrow, Virginia; Misses Emma and Frances Ogle, Gatlinburg. The body will arrive in Sevierville July  and will remain at the Rawlings-Miller Funeral Home until funeral services at the Gatlinburg First Baptist Church. Interment in church cemetery.
