Buckley Edward “Weadsel” Frazier was born on 8 January 1919 in Simmonsville, Craig County, Virginia, the son of James Mason Frazier and Rada Geneva Cruise. He was married to Ola Mae Ford. Buckley Frazier enlisted on 28 May 1943 at Abingdon, Virginia.

Mrs. Ola M. Frazier of 8104½ Lamont street, has received word from the War Department that her husband, Cpl. Buckley C. Frazier, 28, died February 25 in Germany of injuries received in a vehicle accident. Corporal Buckley had been overseas since April 4, 1944. He enlisted in the Army in June, 1943, and received training at Fort Eustis, Va., and Camp Breckenridge, Ky. Besides his widow, survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mason Frazier, Sr.; two brothers, James Mason Frazier, Jr., of Roanoke, Va., and Sgt. Richard M. Frazier of the U.S. Army in Greenland, and three sisters, Mrs. Hugo Cliton and Mrs. Giles Harrison of Bristol, Tenn., and Mrs. Marie Frazier of Bristol, Va.
