Funeral services were held for Pfc. Cal Miller, Monday, Dec. 5, 1949 in Highland Park Baptist Church, Chattanooga, Tenn. Interment was in U.S. National Cemetery, Chattanooga. Private Miller died April 10, 1944, at Nettuno, Italy, as the result of wounds received in action April 8, 1944, near Anzio Beachhead, Italy. He served with Co. D, 157th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division, of the Fifth Army in North Africa, Italy and the Mediterranean area. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Miller; and one sister, Ollie Miller, all of LaFollette.
