Charles Howard Rich was born 18 September 1892, son of Andrew J. Rich. He enlisted at Knoxville, Tennessee on 19 November 1916. Pvt Rich died at the Base Hospital, Camp Greene, at Charlotte, North Carolina of Pneumonia, lobar, acute. He is buried at Knoxville National Cemetery, C-15, 3581
