Pfc. Charles H. Rose Jr., age 23, of 233 East Oklahoma Avenue, was killed in action Dec. 16, 1944 in Luxembourg. He was with the 112th Infantry Divisionand had been overseas since September. Member Oakwood Baptist Church. Attended Christenberry Junior High School. Survivors: mother, Mrs. Maudie V. Rose; brothers, William P. and Frank E. Rose; sister, Mrs. Minnie L. white; three nephews; two nieces, all of Knoxville.
