Charles William Stout was the son of George Thomas Stout and Martha E. “Mattie” Rogers.

Sergeant Stout, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Company K, US Army, was from Kingston, Tennessee.  He was Killed in Action in Normandy, France.

He was initially buried at the US Cemetery at Ste-Mère-Eglise, France. He is now buried at Willard Park Cemetery, Harriman, TN.
