Clarence Leland Lawson was the son of Isham T. Lawson and Agnes Tiney “Tina” Lawson

Sgt. Lawson was killed in an accident while on maneuvers at Camp Barkeley in Texas.

Official word was received here today of the death of Staff Sergeant Clarence L. Lawson, an only brother of Mrs. Otis Bryant, of East Twenty-seventh street.
According to the telegram received by his sister Sergt. Lawson was killed in an automobile accident this morning in connection with maneuvers near Camp Barkley, Tex., where he was stationed as a member of Company A, Four Hundred and Fifteenth Quartermaster Battalion.
