Clarence O. Cook was born on 2 January 1922, the son of Harrison Riley Cook and Oleshia Lura Shelton. He entered the service on 26 August 1940. Cpl. Cook Died non Battle 28 June 1942. He accidentally was killed in a camp accident and buried the other day at Grimsley church-house. Clarence was one of a family of 27 children. Two of his brothers had volunteered in the Army and other were planning to go.
