Conrad Clellan Perryman was born in Lenore, Tennessee, the son of William White Perryman and Nancy Ann Myers.

PFC Perryman was captured in the Southwest Pacific Theatre at the Philippine Islands and sent to Camp 14-121 in the Philippines. He died as a Prisoner of War on the Arisan Maru.
