Eugene “Gene” McClendon was born 21 August 1922 to Lawrence McClendon and Martha Pelfrey. He enlisted in the Army July 11, 1943. He Died non Battle 10 March 1945 in the Pacific area. He was survived by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
