Frank Hamilton was born on 20 November 1914 in Roane County, Tennessee, the son of Henry and Annie Hamilton. He was married to Flora Edith Wells. Pvt Hamilton died 16 September 1944 and was returned from St-Jean-Besançon, France.

Pvt. Frank Hamilton, who left Brookside Mills to enter the Army a year ago, has been missing in action since Sept. 16, the War Department informed Mrs. Hamilton, 226 West Scott Street, today. Pvt. Hamilton received his basic training at Camp Wheeler, Ga., going overseas six months ago He last was home on leave in March when his son, Kenneth was ill. His mother, Mrs. Annie Hamilton, lives at 111 Geraldine Street.

Pvt. Frank Hamilton, age 29, 235 E. Oklahoma Avenue, died in France, September 16th, 1944. He was an employe of the Brookside Mills and later with Becker Roofing Company for three years, before serving with the Army.
