Fred Henry Gossett, Navy Commissionaryman first class, died in a Naval hospital at Yokasuka, Japan. He was a veteran of 16 years in service. At the time of his death he was serving on the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Kearsarge. He leaves his parents; two sister, Mrs. Kenneth Lones of Route 7, Maryville and Miss Sue Gossett; two brothers, Earl and Walker, Detroit.
