He is the son of Mr and Mrs Claude Hassler of Big Lick. He has a brother, Lloyd, 14. Husband of Deborah Anne Dillion. Sgt Hassler was a 1968 graduate of Cumberland County High School and entered the Army in July of that year. He was killed in action in the Saigon area.
