George Edison Gallaher was the son of Charles “Charlie” William Gallaher and Essie sadie Rather.

He enlisted on 22 August 1944 at Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and served with the 314th Infantry, 79th Division. He Died of wounds on 24 Mar 1945, Netherlands
