Pfc. Kyle Jenkins, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jenkins of Dandridge, was killed in action in France September 22, according to information received by his parents. Private Jenkins was a graduate of Maury High School. Prior to entering the Army he was employed by TVA at Douglas MacArthur Dam. He had been in the service for 22 months, and overseas for five months.
Additional survivors include a sister, Mrs. Everette Brooks of Kodak and his grandfather, J.N. Jenkins of Dandridge. Several uncles and aunts and a host of friends also survive him.
