Glen Wood Pack was born on 30 December 1921 in North Carolina, the son of Martin Van Buren Pack and Austria Hardin. Glen was living in Flag Pond, Unicoi County, Tennessee with his family when he enlisted in the United States Army on 26 August 1940 at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia. He was assigned service number 14017959 to the Military Police Detachment, 1468th Station Complement Unit (SCU), Camp Gordon Johnston, Carrabelle, Florida when he died non battle on 22 April 1945.
