Harry Windsor Guinn, 41, an assistant engineer in the United States Merchant Marines, died in a local hospital at 10 o’clock this morning after a short illness. Home on a furlough, Mr. Guinn began an career in the nation’s service in 1920 when he enlisted in the navy. Later he changed to the merchant marine, re-enlisting in that service for the last time seven years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Walker Guinn; son, Harry Jr.; daughters, Marjorie Ann and Pauline Elizabeth Guinn; mother, Mrs. W.C. Phillips; stepfather W.C. Phillips; half sisters, Mrs. Hillis Priddey and Mrs. Glenn Hyburger, and a half brother, W.C. Phillips Jr., United States Navy. Interment will be in Fort Hills Cemetery.
