Jackie Kenneth Reed was killed by gunfire when his group of 280 marines were attacked by 2500 VietCong. He was graduated from a high school in Dayton, Tenn. in 1966 and due back from Vietnam in November. He was married to Nancy and father of a one-year-old daughter Norma.
