James Franklin Goins was born on 15 July 1921, the son of Robert Lee Goins and Josie Bell Bowling. Private Goins entered the service Feb. 17, 1941, received training at Camp Stewart, Ga. and went overseas 19 months before his death. He Died non Battle on 4 May 1945 in Belgium
