Funeral Services for Pvt. Jesse Price, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lark Price, Decatur, will be held at the Decatur Baptist Church. Price, who lost his life on the Attu Island in the South Pacific May 29, 1943, is survived by his parents and six brothers, Walter, Thomas, Jim, George, Clarence and Henry Price, all of Decatur. Pvt. Price enlisted in the Army of the United States August 29, 1942, and served with the 32nd Infantry, Company B. The Purple Heart was awarded his family.
