John Stanton Leuty Jr. was the son of John Stanton Leuty and Alice Bates. He was married to Katherine Cooper Rhoades.

He was killed in Normandy, France. He was initially buried at La Cambe Cemetery at Isigny, France and reburied at the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France, A, 21, 9

I have recently visited the cemetery in Normandy. We were all given a rose to place on a grave. My friend and I placed the rose on John S Leuty Jr. grave site. Not sure if there are any family members, but we just wanted to let them know. Respectfully, Nancy Hadorn
