Julius Berry Tarlton was born 28 August 1895, Greene County, Tennessee to Reuben Greenberry Tarlton and Sarah Elizabeth Tino. He was married to Sarah Jane Starnes.
Pvt Tarlton was admitted at the Base Hospital, Camp Jackson, South Carolina on 13 December 1917 and died two days later of measles and broncho-pneumonia.
