Kenneth married Helena Flora Towle. They were the parents of Kenneth and Gerald Snyder. He enlisted in the US Army on 8 June 1944. He served with Company A, 350th Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division and went overseas in November 1944. Pfc. Snyder was killed in Italy on April 18, 1945
