Lacy Wilson Rueter was the son of Kleffman Hood Rueter and Margaret McTeer Wilson.

Lacy Rueter was killed in action. He was initially buried at Limey Cemetery in Toul, France and reburied at Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold (Moselle), France, Plot C, Row 27, Grave 88.
