The body of Pfc. Oscar Owens, 28, killed in action in Italy Nov. 3, 1943, is being returned to the United States for final burial and will arrive in Bridgeport, Ala., this afternoon. Funeral services will be held at Gilliam Cemetery. Pfc. Owens was born Oct. 26, 1915, and entered military service July 28, 1942. He served in the infantry in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. Surviving are a brother, Charlie Owens, Comfort, Tenn., and three nieces, also of  Comfort.
