Otho Liles was born 18 August 1921 in Coalfield, Tennessee, the son of Will Liles and Lizzie Alma Hudson. He was a member of Company G, 29th Infantry, for three years, and re-enlisted in Company G of the 82nd Airborne Division, 50th Infantry. Pvt Liles was Killed in Action in Italy on 6 December 1943. He was 22 years of age when he died. He was survived by a sister, Mrs. Jose C. Lopez, a grandmother, Mrs. C.W. Hudson and his parents.
