Ralph Anderson Wall was the son of Joseph Cleveland Wall and Callie Elizabeth Buckner.
He was killed in action and initially buried at Luynes Cemetery at Aix-En-Provence, France and reburied at Rhone American Cemetery, Draguignan (Var), France, A, 7, 23

Pfc. Ralph Walls, 20 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walls of near Etowah, has been killed in action in France, on August 27, his parents were informed in a message received Friday from the War Department. Pfc. Walls was with the Infantry division of the U.S. Army and had been in service eighteen months. He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Watson, Mrs. Dorothy Watson and Mrs. Ellen Shugart, all of Etowah; five brothers, Russell, Clarence and Carroll of Etowah, Arvil with the armed forces stationed in Italy and Arnold with the U.S. Navy.
