Raymond Arnold Hale, 20, died May 28, 1945 at Kennedy General Hospital, Memphis of wounds received in action in the Philippines. He had been in service since June 26, 1943. Survivors, parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Hale, Benton; two brothers, Hoyte Hale, U.S. Marine Corps; James David Hale, Benton; two sisters, Lorene and Mary Nell, Benton. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Benton. Burial will be in Benton Cemetery.
