The body of Pvt. Robert L. Ridge, 28, who was killed in New Guinea on August 24, 1944, will arrive tomorrow at his home, South Pittsburg, Tenn. Pvt. Ridge, who was in an engineers combat battalion and served two years before his death, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ridge, South Pittsburg,; four sisters, Miss Virginia Ridge, Mrs. Willie Gudger, Mrs. Charles Raulston of South Pittsburg; Mrs. Thelma Barnett, Jasper, Tenn., and a brother Charles Ridge of Jasper. Services with military honors will be held at Jasper Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Teaque Cemetery, Whitwell, Tenn.
