The body of Private Thomas E. Pearson, 20, who was killed in action Nov. 26, 1944, at Schwerdorff, France, was returned home Friday. He was a member of Center Presbyterian Church. Survivors; parents. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Pearson; four sisters, Mrs. Boyce Coppinger and Miss Lorene Pearson of Maryville; Mrs. John Frye and Miss Mary Pearson of Tellico Plains; four brothers,  Woodrow, William, Joe and Frank, Tellico Plains. American Legion will have charge of military service at the grave. Interment church cemetery.
