William Aaron Myers was born on May 29, 1889 in Sevierville. He was the son of Samuel H. Myers and Margaret A. Myers. He was the brother of Nancy R. Myers, Lani E. Myers, John H. Myers, Leander B. Myers, and George F. Myers. He grew up working on the family farm. Prior to joining the military, he was employed as a logger.
He died November 13, 1948. He is buried in Millers Cove Cemetery in Walland, Tennessee.
