William Clarence Lambert was the son of Walter Clark Lambert and Willena “Lena” Lyle. He was married to Etta Pauline McCarroll. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Bearden, attended Farragut High School and was employed with Sanford-Day Iron Co. He enlisted in the Army on September 9, 1943.
